The Designer
Zuzana Kralova, founder and artistic director of her own studio KRALOVA located in Alicante, holds a degree in Fine Arts from her native Czech Republic and a degree in Fashion Design from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid. An esteemed lecturer and educator on sustainability, circularity and waste management, Zuzana has designed for major brands such as CORTEFIEL and PEPE JEANS, and has led design at prestigious international companies.
Her lifelong connection to craftsmanship and traditional techniques is deeply rooted. Formative experiences at the AMANO Museum in Lima and events such as MILAN Design Week and DUTCH Design Week have solidified her commitment to responsible design throughout the production cycle.
Inspired by Peru’s rich pre-Columbian cultures and traditional craftsmanship, Zuzana embarked on a journey that profoundly influenced her creative direction. Her experiences in Peru, especially at the AMANO Museum, infused her designs with a spirit of cultural reverence and innnovation, making each creation not just a shoe, but a story of connection and respect for the land.
